Dual Degree Partnership Program - Prairie State College

The goal of the Dual Degree Partnership Program is to create a seamless transition for transfer students intending to complete their baccalaureate degree at Saint Xavier University (SXU). The Program allows students the opportunity to be simultaneously admitted to both SXU and Prairie State College.

General Guidelines

Students indicate their intention to participate in the program by filling out this form. This form should be submitted at least two semesters prior to your intended first semester at SXU to take advantage of services such as Academic Advising. Dual Degree Partnership students are subject to the same admission and degree requirements, as well as the same academic policies governing Saint Xavier University and Prairie State College students.

Due to the competitive admission requirements and space constraints, students interested in our traditional Nursing degree are not eligible for guaranteed admission.

Instructions

Meet with your advisor at Prairie State College to verify eligibility to apply.
Submit this form to Saint Xavier University along with your unofficial Prairie State College transcript. The form and transcript can be mailed or emailed to admission@sxu.edu. Our address is Saint Xavier University, 3700 West 103rd Street, Chicago, IL 60655.
Upon SXU's confirmation of your eligibility for the Dual Degree Partnership Program, complete the Transfer Application for admission to SXU at www.sxu.edu, keyword: apply. Plan to apply at least two semesters before you intend to transfer to SXU to be eligible for scholarships. Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities in addition to other documents listed on the SXU undergraduate application.
